<p>A method and apparatus for reviewing specimens of cells. The system includes a review station (10) including a microscope (40) for reviewing fields of view on a specimen. The microscope (40) has a movable stage (46) for bringing fields of view into position so that they are visible through the microscope (40). Characterizations are manually assigned to the fields of view by actuating one of a plurality of input devices (30) representing a characterization. The characterization assigned to a field of view is added to data associated with the location of the field of view on the specimen.</p> |
