A sliding door assembly for a tent/marquee has a modular construction with the frame sections in two halves that clamp together to grip the tent material with the two uprights and with the top edge. Rubber seals enhance the grip and the frame sections are joined by threaded fasteners that do not puncture the edges of the tent material. The assembled frame is completed by fitting to the ground frame that also serves as a guide track for the rollers of the sliding door.
