<p>The present invention is directed to nucleic acid sequences and the polypeptides encoded thereby that are differentially expressed in angiogenesis. Also provided are methods for stimulating or inhibiting angiogenesis in mammals, including humans. Pharmaceutical compositions based on polypeptides, agonists, or antagonists thereto are also provided. Additionally, the invention also provides methods for diagnosing and treating angiogenic disorders including, but not limited to, wound healing and cancer.</p> |
