PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the bending angle highly precisely by retracting a rotor below an upper surface of a die so as not to be interfered with a work when the work is carried in, and allowing the rotor to follow the upper surface according to the bending angle so as to be brought into contact with a straight portion of the work when the work is bent. SOLUTION: A pin shaft 35 provided with a first locking member 39 is urged constantly upward by a first spring 41 substantially at a center position of a groove part of the die D in a detection device body 29 of a bending angle detection device. A rotor supporting member 47 provided with second locking members 61 and 63 is urged constantly upward by two second elastic bodies 49 having the urging force smaller than that of the first spring 41 in the detection device body 29. Two rotors 51 are located on both sides in the width direction of the groove of the die D and pivotably supported on an upper part of the rotor supporting member 47. A tip of the pin shaft 35 is stopped at the position lower than the upper surface of the die by a turnable link member 43 to be engaged with the first locking member 39 and the second locking members 61 and 63, and two rotors 51 are located below the upper surface of the die.
