PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a shaft length in comparison with a conventional magnetic bearing motor, and to prevent the generation of minus torque. SOLUTION: This magnetic bearing motor comprises a rotor 21 made of a conductive magnetic material, thrust control stators 23 mounted on upper and lower parts of collar parts 22 of the rotor 21, radial control stators 24 mounted outside of edge parts of the collar parts 22 and independently controlling each current value with the thrust control stators 23, an encoder detecting an angle of rotation of the rotor 21, a gap sensor detecting a position of the rotor, and a control part electrically connected to the encoder and the gap sensor for calculating a current value of each coil on the basis of signals from the encoder and the gap sensor to control the energization. |
