PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urinal having no possibility of leakage of dirty water and surely detecting user's urination to execute washing. SOLUTION: For a urinal equipped with a detection device for detecting variations in the water level in a trap caused by user's urination and a water supply device for supplying water to the urinal based on a signal from the detection device, a mounting section of the detection device and/or a joint member of the detection device is positioned upward of a draft position in the trap.
