PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain device for water closet capable of easily manufacturing a drain socket 20 with a simple structure and obtaining quick siphonage and strong siphonic force. SOLUTION: A drain device for water closet is equipped with a drain socket 20 and a washing water retention device 30 separated from the drain socket 20 and fixed to the drain socket 20. The washing water retention device 30 is made to temporarily reserve washing water flowing in a socket channel to start siphonage.
