PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool head wherein the force that drives means to displace a tool radially is independent of the rotating speed of the tool head and the radial displacement of the tool. SOLUTION: The tool head comprises a first slide 31 displaceable in opposite directions as first directions orthogonal to an axis of rotation 2 of the tool head, a second slide 32 displaceable in opposite directions parallel with the first directions, and displacement control means 4 for control of the displacement of the two slides and capable of moving them in opposite directions. The displacement control means act in opposite directions parallel with the axis of rotation 2 of the tool head. Each of the slides 31 and 32 has pressure means 5 capable of applying larger force than the centrifugal force acting on the slide to the same slide in the direction opposite of that of the centrifugal force. |
