PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately adjust an approaching attitude of a car body for a rack or a pallet. SOLUTION: A laser pointer 10 for applying laser beam irradiation forward diagonally, and downwardly is disposed at the right end of the central part of the car body 2 of a forklift 1, a linear or linear-band-like laser beam 11 is applied forward diagonally, and downwardly of the forklift 1 from the laser pointer 10, a thin-linear irradiation pattern 12 is formed on a floor surface 13 slightly forward than the tip of a fork 5. Steering cut of the car body 2 is repeated to make the approaching attitude of the car body 2 orthogonal to an end surface of the rack 6 (or the pallet 7) so that the irradiation pattern 12 is parallel with an end edge of the rack 6 (or the pallet 7) on the load delivery side.
