PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning method capable of miniaturizing an air leaning device more than a conventional device if the performance is same in comparison with a well-known air cleaner and to provide the air cleaning device using the method. SOLUTION: In the air cleaning method, a filter provided along the peripheral part a disk and surrounding the inside region of the disk and bended so as to form projecting and recessing parts in a radial direction of the disk is rotated and the air placed on the inside region of the disk is discharged to outside through the filter to clean the air.
