PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problem of a prior art ink recorder in which very small nozzles are formed over a whole width of a recording head and extremely precise and hard processing technology is required, thereby increasing the cost of the recording head. SOLUTION: Ink is filled in a head having a slit opening 101 and a plurality of electrodes 121a-121e arranged therein and the ink is sucked to be recorded by a coulomb force between each of the electrodes 121a-121e and an opposing electrode 123. As the adjacent electrodes are not activated to be the selected electrodes at the same time, the recording is preformed by the ink from a designated position of the slit opening 101. As a voltage difference between the selected electrode and opposing electrode 123 is allowed to differ from a voltage difference between the non-selected electrode and opposing electrode, desired recording by ink is performed by using the recording head which does not need the formation of very small nozzle.
