PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle roof. SOLUTION: This vehicle roof particularly for an automobile is a roof module formed of a substantially rigid roof skin manufactured separately from a body frame and combined with the body frame. It is appropriate to stick an internal skin formed of a plastic foam body by foaming, to a decorative head liner made of a plastic foam body. The roof module can be fitted to an integral sliding type roof unit. The head liner is manufactured separately from the roof module and lockable into its original position and detachable from the internal skin or if appropriate, detachable from a sliding type roof frame of the sliding type roof unit through complementary accurately-fitted connecting parts. |
