PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractor device capable of changing the reference value depending on an occupant using a seat belt. SOLUTION: This retractor device 1 for a seat belt S has a force limiter mechanism for extending out a seat belt S when load tending to pull out the seat belt S exceeds the preset reference value after the pull-out of the seat belt S is locked. In the retractor device 1, the reference value can be changed, and a means for changing the reference value is composed of an energy absorbing shaft 20 for generating torsion according to the load value tending to pull out the seat belt S after the pull-out of the seat belt S is locked, a plurality of working force transmission means 36, 37 disposed in the axial direction to transmit working force applied to the energy absorbing shaft 20; and selecting mechanisms 34, 35 for selectively applying the working positions. |
