PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press molding machine for a hydraulic mineral molded body capable of manufacturing a product having a good surface appearance, and a quality of an edge part free from defects. SOLUTION: In a press molding machine of a hydraulic mineral molded body wherein a surface water content squeezed from a premolded body by pressing is dehydrated by a dehydrating means provided on a mold face of one side mold of top and bottom molds while the premolded body provided by premolding a hydraulic mineral molding material, is press-molded between the top and bottom molds, a water permeable material layer is provided by affixing along a mold surface of the other mold.
