PURPOSE:To enable the grasp of correct residual fuel on the basis of not only a pressure condition but also a temperature condition by obtaining the weight of gas in the ideal state on the basis of gas pressure and gas temperature in the vicinity of a fuel tank, and converting this weight into the weight of actually existing gas to display the residual quantity. CONSTITUTION:A tank gas detecting part 3 is provided at the upper reaches intermediate part of a high pressure pipeline 2. This tank gas detecting part 3 is provided with a pressure sensor 10 for detecting tank gas pressure, and a temperature sensor 11 for detecting the tank gas temperature so as to enable the measurement of tank gas pressure and temperature. These sensors 10, 11 are connected to an electronic control unit ECU. The electronic control unit ECU computes the weight of gas in the ideal state on the basis of gas pressure and gas temperature in the vicinity of a fuel tank 1, converts the weight of the gas in the ideal state into the weight of actually existing gas to obtain residual fuel, and displays the residual fuel on a fuel gauge 12 (connected to the electronic control unit ECU. |
