PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently leave a cleavage groove open. SOLUTION: This vehicular air bag lid part structure is provided with three- layer structure comprising an outer skin 6, a foam layer 7 and a core material 8, and constituted by fitting a nearly rectangular door member 18 opened through a hinge part when an air bag is swollen, to an opening 12 formed at the core material 8. The door member 13 is provided with a lateral pair of recessed bead parts 30 of almost triangular shape from the top view recessed to project onto the back face side of the door member 13, and a reinforcing plate additionally provided on the surface side of the door member 13 so as to cover the whole recessed bead parts 30. The recessed bead part 30 is so formed that two sides of the triangle are extended along the side edge of the door member 13 and the hinge part. |
