PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire with a tread in a split structure with two or more types of rubbers for advantageously avoiding cracking on the bottoms of peripheral grooves in a tread. SOLUTION: A pneumatic radial tire comprises a carcass as a skeleton extended over a pair of bead cores and formed with cord plies arranged in a radial direction, at least two layers of belt and tread arranged in sequence outside in the radial direction of the carcass and a plurality of peripheral grooves formed in the surface of the tread. The tread is formed in a split structure with at least two types of rubbers arrayed in a tire cross direction, and a split interface extending along a tire equator plane between the different types of rubbers is isolated 2 mm or more from the centers of the opening widths of the peripheral grooves to the tire cross direction. |
