PURPOSE: A display module of a liquid crystal display is provided to prevent the minute short of a connection member for connecting a liquid crystal panel with a printed circuit board(PCB) electrically and physically, so as to prevent the color defect of the liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION: A display module(100) comprises a liquid crystal panel(10), a printed circuit board(PCB)(15a,15b), a tape carrier package(TCP)(17) and a plate(200) for protecting a connection member. The liquid crystal panel(10) comprises a thin film transistor(TFT) substrate(11) and a color filter substrate(12). The TCP(17) comprises a base film(18) with ductility, a metal wiring(19) for transmitting an electrical signal and a drive chip(20) for driving the liquid crystal panel(10). The plate(200) for protecting a connection member is adhered in the liquid crystal panel(10) and the PCB(15a,15b) by the adhesive force and is formed in the lower of the liquid crystal panel(10) and the PCB(15a,15b), so as to prevent the PCB(15a,15b) from being dropped. Therefore, the plate(200) for protecting a connection member transmits the weight of the PCB(15a,15b) toward the liquid crystal panel(100) and the force transmitted toward the liquid crystal panel(100) is distributed on the overall surface of the liquid crystal panel(100).
