PURPOSE: A glow lamp manufacturing apparatus and its manufacturing method are provided to prevent the stem flare from damage and the stem glass from crack during the stem manufacturing processing. CONSTITUTION: The glow lamp manufacturing method includes the steps of (a) mounting a flare, a glass rod, and an introduction line into the stem, (b) heating the lower part of the flare by the first heating unit, (c) heating the neck part of the flare by the second heating unit during the (b) step. In the (b) and (c) steps, the applied heating temperature on the neck part is maintained between 400 °C and 430 °C. In the (b) step, the applied heating temperature is maintained between 80 °C and 100 °C. The temperature range of the neck part is maintained between 300 °C and 350 °C. The first heating unit has eight burners and the second heating unit has six burners.
