摘要 |
PURPOSE: A titanium based alloy for biomaterials is provided to replace an existing Ti-6Al-4V alloy for using as a safer biomaterials by not containing cytotoxicity indicated alloy elements, thereby having superior biocompatability, and replace pure titanium for using by having superior mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION: The titanium based alloy for biomaterials comprises 3 to 20 wt.% of In, 1 to 5 wt.% of Nb, 1 to 5 wt.% of Ta, 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% of Pd and a balance of Ti based on the alloy total weight.
