ROTARY COMPRESSOR WITH NOISE REDUCTION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A rotary compressor with noise reduction apparatus is provided to effectively reduce the noise reduced upon discharge of the compressed refrigerant gas, regardless of the frequency range, by arranging a mesh net as a noise reduction member within a muffler. CONSTITUTION: A compressor comprises an electric motor unit arranged in the inner upper portion of a closed container; a cylinder(12) installed in the inner lower portion of the closed container and which performs compression of the refrigerant gas by the driving force from the electric motor unit; a crank shaft(13) inserted into the center of the cylinder and which is shaft-coupled to the electric motor unit; a main bearing(15a) mounted onto the cylinder so as to allow the crank shaft to smoothly rotate, and an auxiliary bearing installed beneath the cylinder; a muffler(17) for surrounding the main bearing and which has a space formed in the upper portion of the main bearing so as to be sectioned from the interior of the closed container; and a noise reduction unit(18) for reducing noise of radio-frequency component and which is arranged at the outlet side of the refrigerant gas compressed in the cylinder mounted within the muffler.
