PURPOSE: A cylinder type color wheel is provided to maintain a same image quality, have a minimum size, and produce a great amount of products. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder type color filter(36) penetrates an optical beam with a wavelength corresponding to each color among a white optical beam. A coupler(34) is attached to the color filter(36). A motor(32) is attached to the coupler(34) for generating a rotation force. A cylinder type color wheel(30) has a penetrating time to be identical to a conventional circular plate and has a minimum size.
