PURPOSE: A multiple web camera server system and a method for controlling a multiple web camera and processing image using the same are provided to extend the number of input cameras as they can be seen in a screen. CONSTITUTION: Initial image data is input through a camera. The noise of the input image data is removed through a high-pass filter and transmitted to a multiplexor part for multichannel support. The multiplexor part outputs data of selected image channel in a plurality of image channels to a video decoder. The video decoder converts the image data into parallel data through an inner analog to digital converter and transmits the converted data to a PC through a PCI slot. The transmitted data is compressed in JPEG format.
