PURPOSE: A braking resistor assembly improves placing structure for a braking resistor to be simply placed in a control box and reduces product price. CONSTITUTION: A braking resistor comprises a case(51), exothermic parts(52), multiple terminals(53), partitions(54), an insulator(55) and sealing material(56). The case(51) has a space inside and placing holes(51h) to be placed on a certain area. The exothermic parts(52) are rods with hot wires winding around and inserted inside the case(51). The terminals(53) are formed on one ends of the exothermic parts(52) and electrically connected with outside. The partitions(54) are installed on both sides of the exothermic parts(52) to divide the inside and the outside of the case(51) and support the connecting parts between the exothermic parts(52) and the terminals(53). The insulator(55) is packed in the case(51) to restrain thermal expansion of the exothermic parts(52) and transmit heat to the case(51) delayingly. The sealing material(56) is formed outside the partitions(54) to fix the terminals(53) and prevent the insulator(55) from leaking. |
