PURPOSE: A horizontal large diameter-elongated hole drill is provided to prevent the lung diseases of workers by decreasing rock dust raised during drilling works inside a tunnel, to promote efficiency on the drilling works, and to enlarge the speed of the process in the drilling works. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal large diameter-elongated hole drill comprises; a chassis(10) installed to be movable on a rail arranged from an access road inside a tunnel; a primary guide rail(20) installed widthwise to the direction of the length of the upper part of the chassis; a vertical controlling member(30) installed to the front and rear of the primary guide rail; a secondary guide rail(40) installed to the upper part of the vertical controlling member; a rotary link(50) installed to be intersected to the both sides of the primary and secondary guide rails; a pneumatic cylinder(60) reciprocating the secondary guide rail by installing a working rod to the rotary link and one end to the chassis to be movable; a drilling device comprising a support(71) installed to the secondary guide rail to be movable to drill a workshop surface inside the tunnel and to connect a hammer drill(H) and a hollow drill rod, a rack fixed to the secondary guide rail between the supports, a feed unit engaged with the rack and transferred backward and forward horizontally, a rotary motor(74) installed to the feed unit to rotate the drill rod, a flushing head(75) installed to a spindle of the rotary motor to fix the drill rod, and a propelling motor(76) installed to one side of the rotary motor to operate the feed unit on the rack; a primary air supply tank(T1) supplying the high-pressure air supplied from a moving rotary screw compressor connected from an air vent to the hammer drill to blow or discharge crushed materials; a secondary air supply tank(T2) connected from the air vent and supplying compressed air out of the tunnel to drive the rotary motor and the propelling motor of the pneumatic cylinder and to the drilling device; a lubricant feed tank(T3) installed to an air supply line(A2) of the secondary air supply tank to supply lubricant to the rotary motor and the propelling motor; a water supply tank installed to an air supply line(A1) of the primary air feed tank to jet high-pressure water; a lubricant feed tank installed to the air supply line(A1) for the smooth operation of the hammer drill to supply lubricant; a control lever(L) installed to the air supply line(A2) of the secondary air supply tank to control the supply of air.
