摘要 The invention relates to a method for applying catalytically active material to a polymer membrane for low temperature fuel cells. According to the invention, a nonpolar solvent, a catalytically active material and a polymer solution are processed into a paste. This paste is then applied to the membrane in the form of a layer, especially by screen printing. The paste is then dried and pressed onto the membrane, heat being supplied. The use of nonpolar solvents prevents swellings from forming in the membrane. It is therefore possible to produce the desired product with only a few processing steps. Material losses are minimised by using the screen-printing technique. The method is therefore economical and simple overall.
