HEAD REST SHOCK ABSORBER OF AUTOMOBILES

PURPOSE: A head rest shock absorber makes a head rest rise and advance to support a passenger's head by mechanical working. CONSTITUTION: A head rest shock absorber comprises a back supporting frame(10), a bracket(50), connecting bars(28) and a head rest frame(40). The back supporting frame(10) is bended on the both ends thereof to form supporting pieces(13) having penetrating holes(12) and fixing holes(14). The bracket(50) have first long holes(18) of circular arc form formed thereon and are fixed to the both sides of the back supporting frame(10) by fixing devices. The connecting bars(28) are fixed to the rear surface of the back supporting frame(10) with a certain gap between them and have a fixing bar(30) fixed on the upper ends thereof. The head rest frame(40) is fixed to the inner side of a seat to be placed in the upper part of the back supporting frame(10) and has second long holes(34) of circular arc form formed on supporting pieces(35) formed on the both sides thereof and the fixing bar(30) engaged with the second long holes(34) to guide the connecting bars(28) to support a head on a collision.
