Ejector mechanism for transferring coins from magazines into delivery channel

A coin dispensing mechanism is used to extract the bottom coin from one of a number of coin magazines. Each magazine is in the form of a tube. (2-5) that are arranged in a line and are of different diameters to suit coin denominations. A handling system for extracting the coins is assigned for each pair of tubes. The handling systems have a centre spindle with a radial carrier (25) that supports a pivot mounted transfer lug (18) that is set at the height of the base of the tube. The spindle is motor driven in either direction to allow the bottom coin to be pushed clear and into the outlet chute.
