The belt (12) is a continuously woven fabric consisting of a double layer section (12c) which accommodates an airbag (11) between the two layers. An intermediate section (12b) tapering down joins a narrow width end section (12a) which is adapted to pass through anchor and attachable to a retractor. The other end of double section (12c), is adapted to fit a tang attachable to buckle apparatus.
