A perforated well filter tube is inserted into a flat groundwater system. A hollow worm drill (4) located within a bore hole tube (5) makes a dead end bore, with direction and inclination defined relative to the groundwater pipe. After the worm drill has been withdrawn, the bore is supported by the bore hole tube, which now acts as protective tube. A well filter tube with filter gravel jacket is inserted into the dead end bore and the bore hole tube is withdrawn.
