The car-wash unit has a control unit (24) for a drive (22) and for washing components (16,18,20) of the wash-unit. The control unit (24) has an audio memory unit (36) connected to at least one loudspeaker (56) or a light control unit (38) connected to a number of light sources (50,52), or both. The audio memory unit preferably has at least one compact disc part or at least one microcassette part.
