The compounds are N-substituted-dihydroxyphenethylamines which are cardiotonic agents, central nervous system depressants and analgetic agents. Representative of the compounds disclosed are N-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenisobutyl)- beta -(isopropyl)-3,4-dihydroxyphenethylamine and N-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenisopropyl)- beta -(isopropyl)-3,4-dihydroxyphenethylamine. |
