The lighting device is for use in indirect illumination, and has decorative or ornamental shapes of various designs for production of indirect illumination. It uses fluorescent illumination tubes are alternatives to incandescent bulbs. The fluorescent tubes are of conventional design and more than one is used as illumination source for the lighting device. The housing for the device forms a closed unit with a series of apertures to produce illuminated patterns.
