The aqueous and hydroalcohol solution ethyl carbamate concentration metering consists of reacting of a sample of 20 per cent (volume) ethanol content, with a 9-xanthydrol solution. The 9-xanthydrol solution in 1-propanol (1 part) is reacted with 5 parts of the sample and 0.5 part of an HCl solution. The resulting soluble derivative is injected into a liquid chromatography system, for final processing in a fluorescence detector.
