The latter functions selectively to yield characters and charts superposed on main video image. When screen reproducer is functioning, scanning velocity modulation system may tend to display unwanted false images on screen. Electronic circuit has been developed for selective disabling of normal functioning of scanning velocity modulation circuit during operation of screen reproducer.
