PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pull switch with a reduced number of components that enables the operator to feel the operational touch and hear the switching sound. SOLUTION: A pull switch comprises an installing box 1 having a fixed contact 2, drive handle 3 supported on a shaft to freely rotate in the installing box 1, moveable contact 4 mounted on the drive handle 3, and coil spring 8 for returning the drive handle 3, thereby connecting or disconnecting the fixed contact 2 and moveable contact. The drive handle 3 has a holder 5 provided on one side to resiliently press or release a spring 7 when pivoting the drive handle 3 forwards and backwards to connect or disconnect the fixed contact 2 and moveable contact 4. Thus, the holder 5 provides the operational touch feel when pressing the spring 7 and the switching sound when releasing the spring 7 to resiliently return to the original position. This eliminates the conventional step, reduces the number of the components, improves the assembling process, and decreases the production cost.
