PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a noise of air suction sound generated when a blower sucks the air without disturbing inflow of the air. SOLUTION: In the boiler comprising a combustion chamber 1 for burning a flame, a fuel supply route for sending a fuel into the chamber, and a blower 2 for blowing combustion air into the chamber, thereby generating air suction sound by an air flow at an air intake port 4 of the blower, a sound suction duct 6 having a sound absorbing material 5 adhered to its inside surface is provided at the air flow upstream side of the port of the blower, the duct 10 has a sound absorbing duct outlet opening 10 of an outlet of the air in the duct and a sound absorbing duct inlet opening 11 of an inlet of the air into the duct. Thus, the port of the blower is connected to the opening 10, and the duct 6 is provided at the upstream side of the air flow from the generator.
