PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil cooler which can prevent the formation of an air lock and is the optimum to the power steering of an automobile. SOLUTION: In a multi-flow type oil cooler which is constituted by inserting a plurality of tubes into a header pipe, at least either one of the distance between a cap which blocks the end section of the header pipe in the longitudinal direction and the end inserted into the header pipe of the tube adjacent to the cap and the distance between a partition plate provided at the midpoint of the header pipe in the longitudinal direction and the end inserted into the header pipe of the tube adjacent to the partition plate is adjusted so as substantially not to produce an air lock.
