PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform inspection or maintenance work by lightly illuminating a required place when performing the inspection or maintenance work on the inside of a septic tank being so far a dark place. SOLUTION: An LED 16 as an illuminating lamp is provided in a tip part of a rod 42 insertable inside a septic tank 24, and the rod 42 is inserted inside the septic tank 24 to illuminate the tank inside to inspect the inside.
