PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve flow rate measuring accuracy in a small flow rate region, and to reduce pressure loss when the measurement is carried out in a large flow rate region. SOLUTION: This flowmeter is provided with a movable wall 6 that can move in the direction of narrowing a passage 3 through which fluid passes and in the direction of widening it. Measurement accuracy, when the measurement is carried out in a small flow rate region, can be increased by moving the movable wall 6 so as to narrow the passage 3, and pressure loss, when the measurement is carried out in a large flow rate region, can be reduced by moving the movable wall 6 so as to widen the passage 3.
