<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that allows suction air from an air inlet to pass through an air-cleaning filter when air-cleaning operation is made, and prevents air resistance from being generated by the air-cleaning filter in a suction air current for preventing the reduction of blast efficiency on cooling and heating operations. SOLUTION: A ventilation hole 7b for introducing indoor air while the air inlet of the upper part of the front surface of a body 1 is closed is provided in a plurality of suction louvers 7, an accommodation part 7c for filters is continuously formed on the back surface of the suction louvers 7, and at the same time a filter 7d is accommodated into the accommodation part while the filter 7d can be inserted and removed so that the filter 7d opposes the ventilation hole and approaches or touches the ventilation hole. Then, when air-cleaning operation is to be made, the suction louvers are set to a state where the air inlet is closed. When cooling or heating operation is carried out, the suction louvers are interlocked to a position where the air inlet is opened with the filter being accommodated into the accommodation part.</p> |
