PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for deciding the cursor position quickly moving a cursor in a screen in any direction, by an operation which can be performed easily by a disabled person. SOLUTION: In this device for deciding a cursor, X-coordinate LEDs 21 and 22 and Y-coordinate LEDs 23 and 24 are successively lighted and scanned, and when the turn of lighting reaches the LED desired by an operator, a selection button 13 is operated by the operator. When the selection button 13 is operated, a cursor controller 12 updates a coordinate value, corresponding to a cursor position displaying part 27 according to the operation of the selection button 13. When the operator confirms the updated value, and operates the selection button 13 when the turn of lighting reaches a decision LED 34, XY coordinate position data calculated by the cursor controller 12 are outputted, and a cursor 9 in a screen 2 is moved to the outputted coordinate position.
