摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain coordinate data expressing the entire three-dimensional shape of an object by using a plurality of three-dimensional image detectors (cameras) that can detect a distance up to the object by each pixel to photograph the object in many directions. SOLUTION: For example, six cameras 10a-10f surrounding an object S are placed. The camera 10a emits a laser beam to the object S and the cameras 10a, 10b detect three spots of the laser beam projected onto the object S. Then the camera 10b emits a laser beam to the object S and the cameras 10b, 10c detect three spots of the laser beam projected onto the object S. The processing is sequentially conducted from the camera 10c to the camera 10f and finally the cameras 10f, 10a are used for the processing. Each camera detects distance information up to the object and the three-dimensional shape of the object is expressed by a coordinate system on the basis of each camera. The coordinate systems on the basis of the cameras are converted into a single coordinate system on the basis of the detected 3 spot positions.
