PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED array element in which a deterioration free image can be obtained by lessening distortion or blur of image on a photosensitive body. SOLUTION: In the inventive LED array element, the line of center of gravity in the emission angle distribution of light emitted from each LED is the optical axis connecting the emitting point of each LED in an LED array element and a point image formed on the plane being irradiated of a photosensitive plane. The emission light in an angle of full width at half maximum where the intensity of light emitted from each LED is halved falls within the aperture angle of a focus optical system. |
