PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise sales data processor capable of speedily and precisely informing a foreigner of information for a customer in a language selected by him/her and through the use of a display for a customer. SOLUTION: A display for a customer 65 is provided with a touch panel 66. Language selecting information for selecting a language ('English', e.g.) different from a normally-used language ('Japanese', e.g.) and information for a customer for transmitting from the customer to an operator stored in a memory can be displayed on the display 65, and the customer can select an optional language by touching operating of the displayed language selecting information. Information for a customer which has to be displayed on the display 65 can be displayed in the language selected by the customer after selecting the language desired by the customer. |
