摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unintended shifts that may occur if a manual shift mode is started by operation of a steering switch at the occurrence of a n abnormality such that the steering switch is stuck in its ON position. SOLUTION: When a manual shift mode ON signal Mon is generated as the result of the turning on of a manual shift mode switch at t1, a manual shift mode is determined to be in operation based on triple collation at t2, as shown in (a). Since the steering switch is stuck in its ON position because of some trouble, a steering switch up signal Sup, which is usually generated at t1, is actually generated at t3 delayed from t1, owing to its relation with a control system, then a steering switch upshift operation is determined to be made at t4 based on double collation. Thus, since determination (triple collation) on the manual shift mode takes a longer time than determination (double collation) on the steering switch upshift, even if Sup is generated at t3 delayed from t1 the moment t4 of determination on the steering switch upshift will not be delayed from the moment t2 of determination on the manual shift mode, with no shift command output at t4.
