PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a rotating shaft for compact and very light in weight to make up a DC brushless motor and to miniaturize and make light-weight a portable underwater electric pump using the motor. SOLUTION: An axial body, where a large-diameter part is formed between a leading part 5a that is pivoted at a motor-side bearing 7and a leading part 5B that is pivoted at a load-side bearing 8, is made of an aluminum alloy, a magnetic cylinder 10 is engaged with the outer-periphery surface of the large- diameter part, and a plurality of magnet plates 11 are aligned with a constant intervals along the circumferential direction of the outer-periphery surface of the magnetic cylinder 10.
