The valve has a housing with a retainer collar to clamp it via an arm into the injection aperture of a cylinder head. A compensation element (7) engages on the retainer collar (5). This has a support surface (8) facing the clamp arm (6), so that the clamp force of the arm is transmitted to the collar via the compensation element. The element has a second support surface (10), which is pressed against a retainer surface (9) on the collar, so that the compensation element engages on the surface near the valve housing (2).
