The holder (1) has a reception opening (2) with a width (d,D) which is adjustable to match the size of the drinks container, via a number of peripheral lamella elements (3), adjusted in the form of an iris light stop. Each lamella element can be pivoted about a rotation axis (4) at one end, via a setting drive, provided with a control ring concentric to the reception opening, having cam elements cooperating with cam surfaces of the lamella elements.
