The invention discloses a new kind of polypeptide-human beta 2 microglobin regulatory factor 34 and the polynucleotide encoding said polypeptide and a process for producing the polypeptide by recombinant methods. It is also disclosed the method of applying the polypeptide for the treatment of various kinds of diseases, such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, nervous system disease, immune disease and inflammation. The antibody and antagonist of the polypeptide and therapeutic use of the same is also disclosed. In addition, it refers to the use of polynucleotide encoding the human beta 2 microglobin regulatory factor 34.
